In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 0.30 am to 5.30 am daily on 10, 11, 12, 17 and 19 December 2025, the following road sections will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour:

1. 1. the section of Tolo Highway (northbound) from a point about 60 metres north of its junction with Tai Po Road – Sha Tin to a point about 1250 metres north of the same junctrion; and,
   2. the section of the slip road leading from Sha Tin Racecourse to Tolo Highway (northbound) from a point about 160 meters south of its junction with Tolo Highway (northbound) to the same junction.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

        At the same time, the existing speed limit of 100 kilometres per hour on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
