TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic Arrangements on Kai Fuk Road, Kowloon Bay

       Motorists are advised that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented on Kai Fuk Road from 1.00 am to 5.30 am daily on 8, 15 to 17 and 21 December 2025 and from 9.00 pm to 6.30 am next day on 20 December 2025:-

  1. Road Closure

The slip road leading from Kai Fuk Road westbound to Kai Cheung Road eastbound will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

    2. Traffic Diversion

  1. Affected vehicles on Kai Fuk Road westbound heading to Kai Cheung Road will be diverted via Kai Tak Tunnel westbound, Kowloon City Road southbound, San Shan Road eastbound, To Kwa Wan Road northbound, Shing Kai Road eastbound, Kai Shing Street southbound, Kai Wah Street eastbound, Wang Kwong Road southbound and Kai Cheung Road eastbound;

  2. Affected vehicles on Kwun Tong Bypass westbound heading to Kai Cheung Road will be diverted via Wang Chiu Road northbound and Kai Cheung Road;

  3. Affected vehicles on Wai Yip Street westbound heading to Kai Cheung Road will be diverted via Wai Yip Street northbound and Kai Cheung Road westbound;

  4. Affected vehicles on Kwun Tong Road westbound heading to Kai Cheung Road will be diverted via Hong Tak Road westbound, Tai Yip Street northbound, Siu Yip Street westbound, Wai Yip Street southbound, Lai Yip Street northbound, Elegance Road northbound, Ngau Tau Kok Road westbound, Kai Cheung Road Flyover and Kai Cheung Road westbound; and

  5. The existing prohibited zone for vehicles carrying dangerous goods on Kai Tak Tunnel westbound will continue to be implemented. Affected vehicles carrying dangerous goods on Kai Fuk Road westbound heading to Kai Cheung Road should keep left and wait for guidance of personnel on duty to divert via the access road to Kai Tak Tunnel Administration Building and Kai Cheung Road.

         Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to observe the instruction of on-site road signs, the police and other personnel on duty and drive with utmost care.
