In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 6.00 pm on 28 December 2025 to 6.00 pm on 30 June 2026, the following road sections will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour:-

1. 1. the section of Kai Fuk Road eastbound from a point about 100 metres east of the exit of Kai Tak Tunnel to a point about 840 metres east of the abovementioned starting point; and
      
      
   2. the section of the slip road leading from Kai Fuk Road eastbound to Kwun Tong Bypass eastbound from a point about 250 metres east of its junction with Kai Fuk Road eastbound.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

       At the same time, the existing speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
