Motorists are advised that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic arrangements on Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung will be implemented from 1.00 am to 5.30 am daily on 16, 17 and 18 December 2025:

(I) Road Closure

• The section of the slip road leading from Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung southbound to Ching Cheung Road eastbound will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

(II) Banning of Turning Movement

• All vehicles on Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung northbound will be prohibited from making right turn onto the slip road leading to Ching Cheung Road eastbound; and
• All vehicles on Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung southbound will be prohibited from making left turn onto the slip road leading to Ching Cheung Road eastbound.

(III) Traffic Diversion

• Affected vehicles on Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung northbound heading to Ching Cheung Road eastbound will be diverted via Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung northbound, Tai Wo Interchange westbound, Tai Wo Interchange northbound, Tai Wo Interchange eastbound, Tai Wo Interchange northbound, Tai Wo Interchange westbound, Tai Wo Interchange southbound, Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung southbound, Butterfly Valley Road southbound, Lai Chi Kok Road eastbound, a slip road near Tung Chau Street, Lai Chi Kok Road westbound, Kwai Chung Road westbound, Kwai Chung Interchange northbound, Container Port Road South southbound and Ching Cheung Road eastbound;
• Affected vehicles on Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung southbound heading to Ching Cheung Road eastbound will be diverted via Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung southbound, Butterfly Valley Road southbound, Lai Chi Kok Road eastbound, a slip road near Tung Chau Street, Lai Chi Kok Road westbound, Kwai Chung Road westbound, Kwai Chung Interchange northbound, Container Port Road South southbound and Ching Cheung Road eastbound;
• Affected vehicles on Cheung Sha Wan Road eastbound heading to Ching Cheung Road eastbound will be diverted via Cheung Sha Wan Road eastbound, Lai Chi Kok Road eastbound, a slip road near Tung Chau Street, Lai Chi Kok Road westbound, Kwai Chung Road westbound, Kwai Chung Interchange northbound, Container Port Road South southbound and Ching Cheung Road eastbound; and
• Affected vehicles on Cheung Sha Wan Road westbound heading to Ching Cheung Road eastbound will be diverted via Cheung Sha Wan Road westbound, Kwai Chung Road westbound, Kwai Chung Interchange northbound, Container Port Road South southbound and Ching Cheung Road eastbound.

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
