Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements
for the Sha Tin Nine District Decennial Tai Ping Ching Chiu Festival

        Members of the public are advised that, to facilitate procession of the Sha Tin Nine District Decennial Tai Ping Ching Chiu Festival, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented:

(1)        Road Closure
      1. The left lane of Yuen On Street from about 60 meters east of its junction with Yuen Shun Circuit to about 200 meters east of the same junction will be temporary closed from 0.00 a.m. on 12 December 2025 to 11.59 p.m. on 18 December 2025.
      2. Part of lanes of the following sections of roads will be intermittently closed to all vehicular traffic from 11.00 p.m. on 17 December 2025 to 1.00 a.m. on 18 December 2025. The actual implementation time and scope of road closure may be varied subject to the police instruction on spot.
      1. Yuen On Street
      2. Yuen Shun Circuit
      3. Yuen Hong Street
      4. Siu Lek Yuen Road
      5. On Ming Street
      6. On Yiu Street
      7. On Sum Street
      8. On Ping Street

(2)    Temporary Suspension of Overnight Goods Vehicle Parking Spaces on Yuen On Street

The overnight goods vehicle parking spaces on Yuen On Street will be temporarily suspended from 0.00 a.m. on 12 December 2025 to 11.59 p.m. on 18 December 2025.

(3)    Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements
Actual implementation of and adjustments to road closures, parking spaces, public light bus and taxi stands, traffic control and public transport services diversions will be made by the Police at the time depending on the prevailing circumstances, traffic and crowd conditions in the areas. Members of the public are advised pay attention to the route diversions and suspension of stops.


        Appropriate temporary traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised not to drive to the affected areas, and to drive with utmost care and patience and take heed of the instruction given by the Police on site.
