TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Western District

        Members of the public are advised that, to facilitate the tram track renewal works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements in Sai Wan will be implemented from 10.00 am on 2 January 2026 to 10.00 am on 15 January 2026:-

I. Temporary Traffic Arrangements

A. Lane Closure
The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic (except trams):-

(i) Part of the traffic lane of Des Voeux Road West eastbound near Kwan Yick Building Phase II; and

(ii) Part of the traffic lane of Des Voeux Road West westbound near Hang Yue Building.

II. Temporary Transport Arrangements

A. Bus Stop Arrangements

(i) The bus stop of Cross-harbour Route nos. 904, 905, 905P and 971 at Des Vouex Road West eastbound near Kwan Yick Building Phase II will be temporarily relocated about 65 metres westward to Des Vouex Road West eastbound near Fung Yip Building;

(ii) The bus stop of Citybus Route nos. A10, A12, NA10 and NA12; and Cross-harbour Route nos. 101, 101X, 104 and 113 at Des Vouex Road West eastbound near Block B, Kwan Yick Building Phase II will be temporarily relocated about 15 metres westward to Des Vouex Road West eastbound near Block A, Kwan Yick Building; and

(iii) The bus stop of Citybus Route nos. 5B and N8X; and Cross-harbour Route nos. 113, 905 and 905A at Des Vouex Road West westbound near Hang Yue Building will be temporarily relocated about 50 metres westward to Des Vouex Road West westbound near Chung Ah Building.

B. Green Minibus (GMB) Stop Arrangement
The GMB stop of Hong Kong Island Route No. 12 at Des Vouex Road West eastbound near Kwan Yick Building Phase II will be temporarily relocated about 90 metres westward to Des Vouex Road West eastbound near Fung Yip Building.

        Appropriate traffic signs and road markings will be erected on site to guide motorists. The bus company will display notices to inform passengers of the above public transport arrangements.
