In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulation, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 6.00 p.m. on 31 December 2025 to 6.00 p.m. on 31 March 2026, the following road sections in Arran Street and Arran Lane will continue to be temporarily designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-

1. 1. the southern kerbside lane of Arran Street from its junction with Arran Lane to a point about 50 metres east of the same junction; and
      
      
   2. the eastern kerbside lane of Arran Lane from its junction with Arran Street to a point about 20 metres south of the same junction.

         Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

            (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or

            (b)  loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones has been indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road sections will continue to be temporarily rescinded.
