Temporary Traffic Arrangements on Shing Mun Tunnel Road, Sha Tin
Motorists are advised that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented on Shing Mun Tunnel Road in the following days:
(I) From 10.00 pm to 11.29 pm on 19 December 2025
- The fast lane of Shing Mun Tunnel Road eastbound from a point about 900 metres west of its junction with the slip road of Shing Mun Tunnel Road leading to Tai Wai eastbound to a point about 40 metres west of the same junction will be temporarily closed.
(II) From 11.30 pm on 19 December 2025 to 0.29 am on 20 December 2025
- The slow lane of Shing Mun Tunnel Road eastbound from a point about 900 metres west of its junction with the slip road of Shing Mun Tunnel Road leading to Tai Wai eastbound to a point about 190 metres west of the same junction will be temporarily closed.
(III) From 0.30 am to 2.59 am on 20 December 2025
- The slow lane of Shing Mun Tunnel Road eastbound from a point about 900 metres west of its junction with the slip road of Shing Mun Tunnel Road leading to Tai Wai eastbound to a point about 390 metres west of the same junction will be temporarily closed; and
- The slow lane of Shing Mun Tunnel Road eastbound from a point about 200 metres west of its junction with the slip road of Shing Mun Tunnel Road leading to Tai Wai eastbound to a point about 300 metres east of the same junction will be temporarily closed.
(IV) From 3.00 am to 5.30 am on 20 December 2025
- The slow lane of Shing Mun Tunnel Road eastbound from a point about 1 000 metres west of its junction with the slip road of Shing Mun Tunnel Road leading to Tai Wai eastbound to a point about 230 metres west of the same junction will be temporarily closed; and
- Part of the traffic lane of the slip road of Shing Mun Tunnel Road leading to Tai Wai eastbound from a point about 230 metres west of its junction with Shing Mun Tunnel Road eastbound to a point about 30 metres east of the same junction will be temporarily closed.
Motorists are advised to drive with care and patience. Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
