In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 21 December 2025, the following road sections in Yau Ma Tei will be designated as restricted zone 24 hours daily:

1. 1. the section of vehicular bridge at Yau Ma Tei Interchange heading for Sham Shui Po of its junction with Hoi Wang Road northbound to a point about 50 metres west of the same junction;
      
      
   2. the section of Lai Cheung Road westbound from a point about 35 metres east of its junction with Hau Cheung Street southbound to a point about 40 metres south of the same junction; and
      
      
   3. the section of Lai Cheung Road westbound from a point about 40 metres south of its junction with Hau Cheung Street northbound to a point about 60 metres west of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

            (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or

            (b)  loading or unloading goods.

         The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate road markings or traffic signs.

         At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road sections will be rescinded.
