Temporary Traffic Arrangements on Shing Mun Tunnel Road, Sha Tin
Motorists are advised that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented on Shing Mun Tunnel Road during the time specified below:
(I) Temporary Traffic Arrangements
From 5.30 am on 20 December 2025 to 6.00 pm on 19 June 2026
The slow lane of Shing Mun Tunnel Road eastbound near Mei Tin Road will lead to Tai Wai only. All vehicles on Shing Mun Tunnel Road eastbound heading for Sha Tin and Tai Po are advised to use the fast lane.
(II) Intermittent Road Closure
From 10.00 am to 4.00 pm daily on every Mondays to Saturdays (except Public Holidays) during the period from 20 December 2025 to 19 June 2026
The slow lane of Shing Mun Tunnel Road eastbound from a point about 220 metres west of its junction with the slip road of Shing Mun Tunnel Road leading to Tai Wai eastbound to the same junction will be intermittently closed.
It is anticipated that the traffic in the vicinity of the above road sections would be relatively busy during the implementation of the above temporary traffic arrangements. Members of the public are advised to plan their journey early and allow more travelling time. Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to drive with care and patience.
