In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulation, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 6.00 p.m. on 31 December 2025 to 6.00 p.m. on 31 March 2026, the following road sections in Arran Street will continue to be temporarily designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-

1. 1. the northern kerbside lane of Arran Street from its junction with Canton Road to a point about 55 metres west of the same junction; and
      
      
   2. the southern kerbside lane of Arran Street from its junction with Canton Road to a point about 25 metres west of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

            (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or

            (b)  loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zone has been indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road sections will continue to be temporarily rescinded.
