ROAD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE (CHAPTER 374)
SPEED LIMIT ON WEST KOWLOON HIGHWAY, YAU MA TEI

          In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 21 December 2025, the section of West Kowloon Highway southbound of its junction with Central Kowloon Bypass to a point about 105 metres north of the same junction will be subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

          Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

          At the same time, all the speed limits on the above road sections will be rescinded.
