In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 12.00 midnight to 3:00 a.m. on 21 December 2025, the section of West Kowloon Highway southbound from a point about 1.5 kilometres north of its junction with elevated road of Lin Cheung Road to a point of the same junction will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour.

         Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

         At the same time, the existing speed limit of 100 kilometres per hour on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
