ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES ON PUI TO ROAD, KIN ON STREET, KIN TAI STREET, TSUN WEN ROAD AND TIN HAU ROAD, TUEN MUN


    In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 19 December 2025, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

  1. the northern kerbside lane of Pui To Road eastbound from a point about 60 metres west of its junction with Kin On Street to a point about 20 metres east of the same junction;
  2. the western kerbside lane of Kin On Street northbound from its junction with Pui To Road to a point about 25 metres north of the same junction;
  3. the eastern kerbside lane of Kin On Street southbound from its junction with Pui To Road to a point about 20 metres north of the same junction;
  4. the eastern kerbside lane of Kin Tai Street northbound from its junction with Pui To Road to a point about 20 metres north of the same junction;
  5. the northern kerbside lane of Pui To Road eastbound from a point about 95 metres west of its junction with Tsun Wen Road to a point about 125 metres east of the same junction;
  6. the southern kerbside lane of Pui To Road westbound from a point about 120 metres east of its junction with Tin Hau Road to a point about 85 metres west of the same junction;
  7. the section of Tsun Wen Road from its junction with Pui To Road to a point about 35 metres north of the same junction;
  8. the western kerbside lane of Tin Hau Road northbound from its junction with Pui To Road to a point about 35 metres south of the same junction; and
  9. the eastern kerbside lane of Tin Hau Road southbound from its junction with Pui To Road to a point about 40 metres south of the same junction.

    Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

  1. picking up or setting down passengers; or
  2. loading or unloading goods.

    The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.

    At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
