ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Restricted Zones in Kowloon City and Yau Ma Tei


        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 21 December 2025, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

    1. the section of Shing Kai Road westbound from its junction with the slip road of Kai Tai Interchange southbound to a point about 25 metres south of the same junction;

    2. the section of Lai Cheung Road westbound from its junction with Hoi Wang Road southbound to a point about 30 metres east of the same junction; and

    3. the section of the slip road heading to Yau Ma Tei of Central Kowloon Bypass westbound from its junction with Lin Cheung Road southbound to a point about 100 metres south of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

           (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or

           (b)  loading or unloading goods.


       The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings or traffic signs.

       At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
