In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 02.00 am to 06.00 am daily on 31 December 2025, 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23 and 28 January 2026, the section of Yuen Long Highway northbound from about chainage marker 47.7A to about chainage marker 45.7A will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

    Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

    At the same time, the existing speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
