ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Public Light Bus Prohibited Zone on Central Kowloon Bypass and Kai Tak Interchange


      In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 21 December 2025, the following road sections of Central Kowloon Bypass and Kai Tak Interchange will be designated as prohibited zone for public light buses 24 hours daily:

    1. the section of Central Kowloon Bypass within the tunnel area of Central Kowloon Bypass (Yau Ma Tei Section Tunnel); and

    2. the section of Kai Tak Interchange within the tunnel area of Central Kowloon Bypass (Yau Ma Tei Section Tunnel).

      All public light buses, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from entering the prohibited zone 24 hours daily.

      The extent of the prohibited zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs.
