TRAFFIC ADVICE
Traffic and Transport Arrangements for Commissioning of
Central Kowloon Bypass (Yau Ma Tei Section)

     (A)  Traffic Arrangements

             Members of public are advised that Central Kowloon Bypass (Yau Ma Tei Section) will be commissioned at 10.00 am on 21 December 2025 (Sunday). Appropriate traffic signs and road markings have been put in place on relevant road sections to guide motorists to enter and exit the Bypass for various destinations.

             Members of the public may enquire 1823, browse Transport Department's website (www.td.gov.hk) or refer to the HKeMobility mobile application for more details about the latest traffic arrangements.

     (B)  Public Transport Arrangements

      To tie in with the opening of Central Kowloon Bypass (Yau Ma Tei Section), the following eight franchised bus routes will provide services between East Kowloon / Tseung Kwan O and other districts via Central Kowloon Bypass (Yau Ma Tei Section) with effect from the first departure of 22 December 2025 (Monday):

    1. KMB Route No. 33X (Tsuen Wan West Station Public Transport Interchange – Yau Tong Public Transport Interchange) ;
    2. KMB Route No. 252S (Handsome Court – Kwun Tong Ferry) ;
    3. KMB Route No. 258X (Po Tin – Kwun Tong Ferry) ;
    4. KMB Route No. 259S (Lung Mun Oasis – Kwun Tong Ferry);
    5. KMB Route No. 259X (Lung Mun Oasis – Kwun Tong Ferry);
    6. KMB Route No. 268P (Ma Wang Road to Kwun Tong Ferry / Kwun Tong Ferry to Long Ping Station);
    7. KMB Route No. 269S (Tin Shui Wai Town Centre – Kwun Tong Ferry); and
    8. CTB Route No. A28X (Tseung Kwan O Station Public Transport Interchange to Airport (Ground Transportation Centre)).

            Bus companies will also disseminate the details of the bus routes and bus-bus interchange arrangements through various channels, including notices at bus stops and inside bus compartments, uploading the said information to bus companies' websites and mobile applications.
