ROAD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE (Chapter 374)
Temporary Speed Limit on Airport Road, Chek Lap Kok

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 8.00 a.m. on 5 January 2026 to 5.00 p.m. on 28 February 2026, the section of Airport Road southbound of its junction with North Lantau Highway to a point about 1,300 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

        At the same time, the existing speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists.
