Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau and Ma Sik Road, Fanling


          Members of the public are advised that to facilitate road works, the following traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on Sha Tau Kok Road - Lung Yeuk Tau and Ma Sik Road from 8:00 am on 28 December 2025:

1. BANNING OF TURNING MOVEMENT

  1. All vehicles are prohibited from making right turn from Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau southbound onto Ma Sik Road westbound; and
  2. All vehicles are prohibited from making right turn from Ma Sik Road eastbound onto Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau southbound.
2. TRAFFIC DIVERSION

  1. Vehicles on Ma Sik Road eastbound near Wing Fai Centre heading for Kowloon and Sha Tau Kok Road - Lung Yeuk Tau southbound will be diverted via Wo Tai Street southbound, Luen On Street eastbound and Sha Tau Kok Road - Lung Yeuk Tau southbound;
  2. Vehicles on Ma Sik Road eastbound near Belair Monte heading for Kowloon and Sha Tau Kok Road - Lung Yeuk Tau southbound will be diverted via Sha Tau Kok Road - Lung Yeuk Tau northbound, roundabout and Sha Tau Kok Road - Lung Yeuk Tau southbound;
  3. Vehicles on Sha Tau Kok Road - Lung Yeuk Tau southbound heading for Sheung Shui will be diverted via Sha Tau Kok Road - Lung Yeuk Tau southbound, roundabout and Jockey Club Road westbound;
  4. Vehicles on Sha Tau Kok Road - Lung Yeuk Tau southbound heading for Green Code and Belair Monte will be diverted via Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau southbound, roundabout, Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau northbound and Ma Sik Road westbound; and
  5. Vehicles on Sha Tau Kok Road - Lung Yeuk Tau southbound heading for One Innovale and Ma Sik Road westbound will be diverted via Sha Tau Kok Road - Lung Yeuk Tau southbound, Luen On Street westbound and Wo Tai Street northbound.

3. PUBLIC TRANSPORT SERVICES ARRANGEMENTS

i. NT GMB 506 will be temporarily diverted via Ma Tak Road northbound, Ma Tak Road southbound, Wo Tai Street southbound and Luen On Street eastbound before resuming its original routeing from 08.00am on 28 December 2025 until further notice;

The GMB stop at Ma Sik Road eastbound near One Innovale will be temporarily relocated to Ma Tak Road southbound. The GMB stop at Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau southbound near Lok Tin Street will be temporarily canceled;


ii. NT GMB 507 will be temporarily diverted via Wo Tai Street northbound, Ma Tak Road northbound, Ma Tak Road southbound, Wo Tai Street southbound and Luen On Street eastbound before resuming its original routeing from 08.00am on 28 December 2025 until further notice;

The GMB stops at Wo Muk Road westbound and Ma Sik Road eastbound near One Innovale will be temporarily relocated to Wo Tai Street northbound near Luen Shing Street and Ma Tak Road southbound respectively. The GMB stop at Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau southbound near Lok Tin Street will be temporarily canceled; and

iii. NT GMB Nos. 503 (North District Hospital bound) and 503K (Spot bound) will be diverted via Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau southbound, Luen On Street westbound, Wo Muk Road westbound and Fan Leng Lau Road northbound before resuming its original routeing with effect from 08.00am on 28 December 2025.

The GMB stop at Ma Sik Road westbound near Green Code will be relocated to Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau southbound near Lok Tin Street.

          Appropriate traffic signs and road markings will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions on site and drive in utmost care.
