In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 2 January 2026, the following road sections will be subject to a speed limit of 30 kilometres per hour:

        (a) Yuen Long New Street;

        (b) Mau Tan Street; and

        (c) Hop Choi Street. 

        Appropriate traffic signs and road markings will be erected to guide motorists.
