Motorists are advised that in order to facilitate road resurfacing works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 00.00 a.m. to 5.30 a.m. daily on 3, 8, 10, 14, 17, 21, 24, 28 and 31 January 2026:

1. 1. The leftmost lane of Tai Po Road – Sha Tin (northbound) from a point about 70 metres south of its junction with Tolo Highway (northbound) to a point of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic;
   2. the leftmost lane of Tolo Highway (northbound) from a point of its junction with Tai Po Road – Sha Tin (northbound) to a point about 120 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic;
   3. the leftmost lane of Tolo Highway (northbound) from a point about 130 metres north of its junction with Tai Po Road – Sha Tin (northbound) to a point about 710 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic;
   4. the only lane of the slip road leading from Tolo Highway (northbound) to Chak Cheung Street from its junction with Tolo Highway (northbound) to its junction with Tate's Cairn Highway (northbound) will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic; and,
   5. the slow lane of the slip road leading to Chak Cheung Street from its junction with Tate's Cairn Highway (northbound) to its junction with Chak Cheung Street will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

1. 1. Vehicles on Tolo Highway (northbound) heading to Chak Cheung Street will be diverted via Tolo Highway (northbound), Slip Road, Tai Po Road – Yuen Chau Tsai (northbound), Roundabout, Tai Po Road – Yuen Chau Tsai (southbound), Slip Road, Tolo Highway (southbound), Slip Road, Roundabout and Chak Cheung Street (westbound).
   2. Vehicles on Sha Tin Road (northbound) heading to Chak Cheung Street will be diverted via Sha Tin Road (northbound), Sha Lek Highway (northbound), Tate's Carin Highway (northbound), Slip Road and Chak Cheung Street.
   3. Vehicles on Tai Po Road – Sha Tin (northbound) heading to Chak Cheung Street will be diverted via Tai Po Road – Sha Tin (northbound), Slip Road, Fo Tan Road (eastbound), Tai Chung Kiu Road (northbound), Shek Mun Interchange, Tate's Cairn Highway (northbound), Slip Road and Chak Cheung Street.

1. 1. The Long Win Bus Route No. NA47 (Tai Po (Tai Wo) bound) will be diverted via Tai Po Road – Sha Tin (northbound), Slip Road, Fo Tan Road (eastbound), Tai Chung Kiu Road(northbound), Shek Mun Interchange, Tate's Cairn Highway (northbound), Slip Road and Chak Cheung Street before resuming to its original routeing.
   2. The KMB Bus Route No. 271R (Tai Po (Tai Wo) bound) will be diverted via Sha Tin Road (northbound), Sha Lek Highway (northbound), Tate's Cairn Highway (northbound), Slip Road and Chak Cheung Street before resuming to its original routeing.

        The relevant public transport operator will display notices to advise passengers of the above arrangements. Appropriate traffic signs will be erected at the concerned road sections to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions on site and drive in utmost care.
