In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 0.01 am to 6.00 am on every Wednesday and Friday during the period between 21 January 2026 and 20 March 2026, the following sections of San Tin Highway will be temporarily subject to the speed limits as described below:

1. The section of San Tin Highway southbound between about chainage marker 31.95B and about chainage marker 32.25B will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour; and
2. The section of San Tin Highway southbound between about chainage marker 32.25B and about chainage marker 34.12B will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

　　Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists.

　　At the same time, the existing speed limit of 100 kilometres per hour on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
