In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 8.00 a.m. on 12 January 2026 to 6.00 p.m. on 11 July 2026, the section of Long Tin Road southbound from its junction with Tong Yan San Tsuen Interchange to a point about 460 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists.

        At the same time, the existing speed limit on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
