In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 11.00 p.m. on 10 January 2026 to 5.30 a.m. on 11 January 2026, the following road sections will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour:-

1. 1. The section of Lung Cheung Road westbound from a point about 115 metres west of its junction with slip road leading from Lung Cheung Road westbound to Tate's Cairn Tunnel to a point about 845 metres west of the same junction; and
      
      
   2. The section of Lung Cheung Road eastbound from a point about 515 metres west of its junction with Tai Hom Road to a point about 20 metres east of the same junction.

         Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

         At the same time, the existing speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
