ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Temporary Prohibited Zone for Vehicles Exceeding 7 Metres in Length on Thomson Road, Wan Chai

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 8.00 am on 12 January 2026 to 6.00 pm on 21 January 2026, the section of Thomson Road between Johnston Road and Luard Road will be temporarily designated as a prohibited zone for vehicles exceeding 7 metres in length 24 hours daily.

     Drivers of all motor vehicles, expect those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving vehicles exceeding 7 metres in length into the above prohibited zone.

The extent of the prohibited zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic sign.
