TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Aberdeen

        Members of the public are advised that to facilitate drainage works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Aberdeen from 10.00 am on 8 January 2026 to 10.00 am on 31 March 2026:

A.     Traffic Arrangement

The section of Aberdeen Reservoir Road near its northern junction with Yue Kwong Road will be temporarily converted from two-lane two-way traffic into one-way northbound traffic.

B.     Banning of Turning Movement

All vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from making left turns from Hoy Au Lau, Yue Kwong Chuen onto Aberdeen Reservoir Road southbound.

C.     Traffic Diversion

Affected vehicles from Hoy Au Lau, Yue Kwong Chuen heading to Aberdeen Reservoir Road southbound will be diverted via Aberdeen Reservoir Road northbound and Yue Kwong Road.

D.     Relocation of Metered Parking Spaces

4 metered parking spaces (nos. 3237AB and 3238AB) on Yue Kwong Road near Hong Kong Construction Industry Trade Testing Centre will be temporarily relocated to Yue Kwong Road outside Tin Fai House, Yue Fai Court.

E.     Relocation of Bus Stop

The bus stop of CTB Route Nos. 7, 70P, 76, 595 and 971 on Yue Kwong Road near Aberdeen Reservoir Road will be temporarily relocated about 35 metres southward.

F.     Relocation of GMB Stop

The stop of Hong Kong Island GMB Route Nos. 4B, 4C, 4M, 4S, 35M, 52, N4C and N4M on Yue Kwong Road near Aberdeen Reservoir Road will be temporarily relocated about 45 metres southward.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on-site to guide motorists. The public transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above arrangements.
