TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Western District

        Members of the public are advised that, to facilitate the tram track renewal works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements in Sai Wan will be implemented from 10.00 am on 15 January 2026 to 11.59 pm on 5 February 2026:-

I. Temporary Lane Closure
The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic (except trams):-

(a) Part of the traffic lane of Des Voeux Road West eastbound near Kwan Yick Building Phase II; and

(b) Part of the traffic lane of Des Voeux Road West westbound near Hang Yue Building.

II. Temporary Bus Stop Arrangement
The bus stop of Citybus Route nos. 5B and N8X; and Cross-harbour Route nos. 113, 905 and 905A at Des Vouex Road West westbound near Hang Yue Building will be temporarily relocated about 50 metres westward to Des Vouex Road West westbound near Chung Ah Building.

        Appropriate traffic signs and road markings will be erected on site to guide motorists. The bus company will display notices to inform passengers of the above public transport arrangements.
