TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Chater Road and Ice House Street, Central

        Members of the public are advised that to facilitate construction works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on Chater Road and Ice House Street from 1.00 am to 6.00 am daily on Mondays to Fridays (except Public Holidays) between 8 January 2026 and 9 May 2026:

A.     Lane Closure

The following traffic lanes will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:

1. 1. 1. The section of right lane of Chater Road between Des Voeux Road Central and Ice House Street; and
      2. The section of left lane of Ice House Street between Des Voeux Road Central and Chater Road.

B.     Suspension of Taxi Stands

The urban and cross harbour taxi stands on Chater Road outside Alexandra House will be temporarily suspended.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on-site to guide motorists.
