TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic Arrangements in Western District

        Notice is hereby given that to facilitate works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented in Western District from 1.00 am to 6.00 am on 9 and 12 January 2026:

9 January 2026

    1. The slip road leading from Western Harbour Crossing to Sai Ying Pun or Sheung Wan will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
    2. All vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from making right turns from Connaught Road West westbound onto Water Street.
    3. Affected vehicles on Western Harbour Crossing heading for Sai Ying Pun or Sheung Wan will be diverted via the slip road leading to Shek Tong Tsui or Kennedy Town, Connaught Road West westbound, Ka On Street, Des Voeux Road West eastbound, Water Street and Connaught Road West flyover eastbound.

12 January 2026

    1. The slip road leading from Western Harbour Crossing to Central District will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
    2. Affected vehicles on Western Harbour Crossing heading for Central District will be diverted via the slip road leading to Sai Ying Pun or Sheung Wan and Connaught Road West eastbound.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on-site to guide motorists.
