Traffic Advice
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Tin Fuk Road, Tin Shui Wai
Members of the public are advised that, to facilitate the construction works of the New Tin Shui Wai Public Market, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 1.30 am to 5.00 am on 14 January 2026:
(I) Road Closure
A section of Tin Fuk Road (both bounds) between Tin Yiu Road and Tin Shing Road will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
(II) Traffic Diversion
- Motorists on Ping Ha Road (eastbound or northbound) heading for Tin Fuk Road (eastbound) will be diverted via Tin Yiu Road (northbound), Tin Wu Road (eastbound) and Tin Shing Road (southbound);
- Motorists on Tin Yiu Road (southbound) heading for Tin Fuk Road (eastbound) will be diverted via Ping Ha Road (westbound), Kiu Cheong Road (southbound), Kiu Fat Street (eastbound), Ping Ha Road (northbound), Tin Yiu Road (northbound), Tin Wu Road (eastbound) and Tin Shing Road (southbound);
- Motorists on Tin Shing Road (southbound) heading for Ping Ha Road (westbound or southbound) will be diverted via Tin Fuk Road (eastbound), Long Tin Road (southbound), Tong Yan San Tsuen Interchange, Long Tin Road (northbound), Tin Fuk Road (westbound), Tin Shing Road (northbound), Tin Wu Road (westbound) and Tin Yiu Road (southbound); and
- Motorists on Tin Fuk Road (westbound) heading for Ping Ha Road (westbound or southbound) will be diverted via Tin Shing Road (northbound), Tin Wu Road (westbound) and Tin Yiu Road (southbound).
(III) Public Transport Arrangements
- KMB Route Nos. 69X, 269B, 269C, 276A and CTB Route No. 969 (Tin Shui Wai bound) will be diverted via Yuen Long Highway (westbound), Hung Tin Road (northbound) and Ping Ha Road (eastbound) before resuming its original routeing;
- KMB Route No. N269 (Mei Foo bound) will be diverted via Ping Ha Road (westbound), Hung Tin Road (southbound), Castle Peak Road – Ping Shan (eastbound) and Shui Pin Wai Interchange before resuming its original routeing;
- KMB Route No. N269 (Tin Shui Wai bound) will be diverted via Castle Peak Road – Ping Shan (westbound), Hung Tin Road (northbound) and Ping Ha Road (eastbound) before resuming its original routeing;
- CTB Route No. N969 (Causeway Bay bound) will be diverted via Ping Ha Road (westbound), Hung Tin Road (southbound), Yuen Long Highway (eastbound), Long Tin Road (northbound) and Castle Peak Road – Ping Shan (westbound) before resuming its original routeing;
- CTB Route No. N969 (Tin Shui Wai bound) will be diverted via Shui Pin Wai Interchange, Long Tin Road (southbound), Yuen Long Highway (westbound), Hung Tin Road (northbound) and Ping Ha Road (eastbound) before resuming its original routeing;
- NT GMB Route No. 79S (Lok Ma Chau bound) will be diverted via Ping Ha Road (westbound), Hung Tin Road (southbound), Yuen Long Highway (eastbound), Long Tin Road (northbound) and Shui Pin Wai Interchange before resuming its original routeing;
- NT GMB Route No. 79S (Tin Shui Wai bound) will be diverted via Long Tin Road (southbound), Yuen Long Highway (westbound), Hung Tin Road (northbound) and Ping Ha Road (eastbound) before resuming its original routeing;
- The existing stopping point of the above routes on Tin Fuk Road (eastbound) near Tin Yau Court will be temporarily relocated to Ping Ha Road (westbound) near Tin Shui Wai MTR Station; and
- The existing stopping point of the above routes on Tin Fuk Road (westbound) near Tsui Sing Lau will be temporarily relocated to Ping Ha Road (eastbound) near Tin Shing Court.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions on site and drive with utmost care. The public transport operators will also display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
