In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect daily from 10.00 pm to 6.00 am of the following day between 19 January 2026 and 31 January 2026 (except 25 January 2026), Tai Po Road – Ma Liu Shui from a point about 480 metres south of its junction with University Avenue to a point about 210 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

       Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on site to guide motorists.

        At the same time, the existing speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
