ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES ON QUEEN'S ROAD CENTRAL, CENTRAL

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 6 February 2026, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm daily: –

1. 1. the southern kerbside lane of Queen's Road Central from a point about 30 metres west of its junction with Duddell Street to a point about 55 metres west of the same junction; and
   2. the northern kerbside lane of Queen's Road Central from a point about 45 metres west of its junction with Bank Street to a point about 140 metres west of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses taxis, private cars and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from: –

1. 1. picking up or setting down passengers; or
   2. loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
