Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Heung Yuen Wai Highway, Tai Po


        Members of public are advised that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 12.30 am to 6.00 am daily on 20, 23, 27 and 30 January and 3, 5 and 10 February 2026:

(I)    Road Closure

The slip road leading from Fanling Highway northbound to Heung Yuen Wai Highway northbound and the slow lane of Heung Yuen Wai Highway northbound from a point about 80 meters south of Lung Shan Tunnel southern entrance to a point about 320 meters south of the same entrance will be temporarily closed.

(II)   Traffic Diversion

Affected vehicles will be diverted via Fanling Highway northbound, Pak Wo Road northbound, Fanling Highway southbound and Heung Yuen Wai Highway northbound.

(III)  Public Transport Arrangement

CTB Route No. 79X (Cheung Sha Wan (Kom Tsun Street) – Queen's Hill Fanling) (Queen's Hill bound) will be diverted via Exit 7C sliproad northbound, Pak Wo Road northbound, Fanling Highway southbound and Heung Yuen Wai Highway northbound.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
