Temporary Traffic Arrangements on Wai Kek Street, Kwai Chung

           Motorists are advised that to facilitate drainage works, the following temporary traffic arrangements on Wai Kek Street will be implemented from 1.00 am to 5.30 am daily from 23 January 2026 to 13 February 2026 (except Sundays):

(I) Lane Conversion

• The section of Wai Kek Street near Shek Lei Shopping Centre and Market will be temporarily converted into one-lane two-way traffic.

(II) Banning of Turning Movement

• All vehicles exceeding 8 metres in length will be prohibited from making right turn from Shek Li Street westbound onto Wai Kek Street northbound.

(III) Traffic Diversion

• Affected vehicles on Shek Li Street westbound heading for Tai Loong Street westbound via Wai Kek Street northbound will be diverted to travel via Wai Kek Street southbound, Shek Pai Street westbound, Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung northbound, Wo Yi Hop Road eastbound, Tai Loong Street southbound and Tai Loong Street westbound.

           Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
