Members of the public are advised that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 11.00 pm to 6.00 am of the following day daily from 26 January 2026 to 29 January 2026.

        Road Closure

The slip road leading from Lion Rock Tunnel Road southbound to Lung Cheung Road westbound will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

        Traffic Diversion

During the closure of the above slip road, affected vehicles are advised to travel via:

1. Affected vehicles heading for Sham Shui Po or Shek Kip Mei are advised to travel via Lion Rock Tunnel Road southbound, Waterloo Road southbound, Cornwall Street westbound and Nam Cheong Street southbound; and
   
   
2. Affected vehicles heading for Kwai Chung and Lantau Island direction are advised to travel via Lion Rock Tunnel Road southbound, Waterloo Road southbound, Cornwall Street westbound, Lung Yuet Road westbound, Tai Po Road westbound and Ching Cheung Road westbound; or via Lion Rock Tunnel Road southbound, Waterloo Road southbound, Junction Road eastbound, Chuk Yuen Road northbound and Lung Cheung Road westbound.

        Public Transport Arrangements

During the closure of the above slip road, KMB route nos. 86, 86A and 87B (Kowloon bound) will be diverted via Lion Rock Tunnel Road southbound, Waterloo Road southbound, Junction Road eastbound, Chuk Yuen Road northbound, Lung Cheung Road westbound and then resume to the original routings. The en-route bus stops will not be affected.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. The bus company will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
