In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 12.00 midnight to 5.30 a.m. on 3 February 2026, the section of Lung Cheung Road westbound from a point about 115 metres west of its junction with the slip road leading from Lung Cheung Road westbound to Tate's Cairn Tunnel to a point about 400 metres west of the same junction will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

           Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

           At the same time, the existing speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
