In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that from 12 am to 5.30 am on 10 February 2026, the following road sections of Fanling Highway will be temporarily subject to a temporary speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour:

1. The section of Fanling Highway westbound from a point of about 80 metres east of its junction with the slip road leading to Tai Tau Leng roundabout to a point about 600 metres west of the same junction;
2. The section of slip road of Fanling Highway westbound from a point of its junction with Fanling Highway westbound to a point about 120 metres of the same junction.

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists.

At the same time, the existing speed limit of 100 kilometres per hour on the above section of road will be temporarily rescinded.
