ROAD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE (CHAPTER 374)
Temporary Speed Limits on West Kowloon Highway

       In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct the following road sections will be temporarily subject to the speed limits as described below:

    1. From 10.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m. of the following day daily on 2, 4, 6, 10 and 12 February 2026

  1. West Kowloon Highway northbound from a point about 100 metres north of its junction with the slip road to Lin Cheung Road to a point about 600 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour; and

  2. West Kowloon Highway northbound from a point about 600 metres north of its junction with the slip road to Lin Cheung Road to a point about 1700 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.
   2. From 1.00 a.m. to 6.00 a.m. on 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 and 13 February 2026
  1. West Kowloon Highway northbound from a point about 1700 metres north of its junction with the slip road to Lin Cheung Road to a point about 2100 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

        At the same time, the existing speed limits on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
