Members of the public are advised that to facilitate waterworks, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on Tai Po Raod – Tai Po Kau from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm daily on Mondays to Saturdays (except public holidays) from 5 March 2026 to 27 May 2026.

The section of Tai Po Road – Tai Po Kau from its junction with Cheung Shue Tan Road to a point about 105 meters south of the same junction will be temporarily converted from two-lane two-way traffic into one-lane two-way traffic.

The bus stop of KMB Route Nos. 72, 72A, 73A and 74A on Tai Po Road – Tai Po Kau southbound near Cheung Shue Tan Road and the bus stop of KMB Route Nos. 72, 72A, 73A, 74A and 872 on Tai Po Road – Tai Po Kau northbound near Cheung Shue Tan Road will be temporarily relocated for about 130 meters southwards and 70 meters southwards respectively. Passengers may also take the existing green minibus services near the relocated bus stops.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Notices will be displayed by the public transport operators to inform passengers of the above arrangements concerned.
