ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES ON JAVA ROAD AND HOI YU STREET, QUARRY BAY

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 13 February 2026, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-

(a) The northern kerbside lane of Java Road from its junction with Hoi Yu Street to a point about 85 metres east of the same junction; and

(b) The eastern kerbside lane of Hoi Yu Street from its junction with Java Road to a point about 10 metres north of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner of Transport, will be prohibited from:-

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.

The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
