ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
TEMPORARY RESTRICTED ZONE AT FORBES STREET, WESTERN DISTRICT

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 2.00 pm to 10.00 am of the following day on Saturdays between 28 February 2026 and 18 April 2026, the northern kerbside lane of Forbes Street from a point about 35 metres west of its junction with Smithfield to a point about 95 metres west of the same junction will be temporarily designated as a restricted zone 24 hours daily.

        Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:—

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road section will be rescinded.
