Temporary Closure of Cycle Tracks and Suspension of Bicycle Parking Spaces in Tseung Kwan O
Cyclists are advised that in order to facilitate the holding of "Rotary Hong Kong Ultramarathon 2026 cum End Polio Walk", the following temporary arrangements will be implemented on 1 March 2026 (Sunday):
A. Cycle Tracks Closure
The following sections of cycle tracks will be temporarily closed from 7:30 am to 12.00 pm:
1. the cycle track along Tseung Kwan O South Waterfront Promenade;
2. the cycle track along Tseung Lam Highway from its junction with Tong Yin Street to Tseung Lam Highway of its junction with Wan O Road;
3. along the section of the cycle track between the junction of Tong Yin Street and Tseung Lam Highway to Tseung Kwan O Waterfront Park;
4. the cycle track along Tseung Kwan O Waterfront Park; and
5. the cycle track on the Tseung Kwan O Waterfront Park Footbridge (Northern bridge).
During the closure of the cycle tracks, cyclists are required to dismount upon entering/ leaving the above-mentioned locations.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide the cyclists.
B. Bicycle Parking Spaces Suspension
The bicycle parking spaces at the following locations will be temporarily suspended from 00:00 am to 12.30 pm:
(i) Tseung Lam Highway Garden
(ii) Tseung Lam Highway (Cross-Bay Link)
The public has to take away all their articles from the bicycle parking spaces before the suspension period.
