ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Temporary Prohibited Zone for Vehicles Exceeding 7 Metres in Length on Canal Road East, Causeway Bay

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 8.00 pm to 6.00 am the following day daily on Mondays to Fridays from 2 March 2026 to 23 March 2026, the section of Canal Road East between Jaffe Road and Lockhart Road will be temporarily designated as a prohibited zone for vehicles exceeding 7 metres in length.

      Drivers of all motor vehicles, expect those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving vehicles exceeding 7 metres in length into the above prohibited zone.

 The extent of the prohibited zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic sign.
