ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
EXTENSION OF TEMPORARY RESTRICTED ZONES ON KENT ROAD AND TRUE LIGHT LANE, KOWLOON TONG

         In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 6.00 pm on 28 February 2026 to 6.00 pm on 30 June 2026, the following road sections will continue to be temporarily designated as restricted zones 7.00 am to 7.00 pm daily:

1. 1. The western kerbside lane of Kent Road from its junction with True Light Lane to a point about 30 meters north or the same junction; and
      
      
   2. The northern kerbside lane of True Light Lane from its junction with Kent Road to a point about 5 meters west of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

            (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or

            (b)  loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones have been indicated by appropriate road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
