ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Temporary Restricted Zone on an Unnamed Road near Container Terminal 2, Kwai Chung

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 6 March 2026 to 6.00 pm on 31 May 2026, the western kerbside lane of the unnamed road leading to Drainage Services Department Container Port Road Maintenance Depot from its junction with Container Port Roundabout 2 to a point about 65 metres south of the same junction will be temporarily designated as restricted zone 24 hours daily.

        Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner of Transport, will be prohibited from:-

• picking up or setting down passengers; or
• loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
