Traffic Advice
Temporary Traffic Arrangements on Science Park Road, Shatin
Motorists are advised that, in order to facilitate underground cable laying works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented daily from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm between 9 and 14 March 2026:
A. Traffic Lane Closure
The rightmost lane of Science Park Road (northbound) from a point about 225 metres south of its junction with Chong San Road to a point about 285 metres south of the same junction will be closed to all vehicular traffic.
B. Banning of Turning Movement
All vehicles will be prohibited from turning right from run-in/out of Simon F.S. Li Marine Science Laboratory of The Chinese University of Hong Kong onto Science Park Road (northbound).
C. Traffic Diversion
Vehicles on run-in/out of Simon F.S. Li Marine Science Laboratory of The Chinese University of Hong Kong heading for Science Park Road (northbound) will be diverted via Science Park Road (southbound) and Chak Cheung Street roundabout.
Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions on site and drive with utmost care.
