ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES IN WAN CHAI

       In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 13 March 2026, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

(a) the western kerbside lane of Wong Nai Chung Road from a point about 100 metres south of its junction with Hau Tak Lane to a point about 545 metres south of the same junction;
(b) the western kerbside lane of Shan Kwong Road from a point about 10 metres north of its southern cul-de-sac to a point about 60 metres north of the same cul-de-sac;
(c) the western kerbside lane of Hawthorn Road from a point about 50 metres south of its junction with Sing Woo Road to a point about 80 metres south of the same junction;
(d) the southern kerbside lane of Holly Road from its junction with Hawthorn Road to a point about 10 metres east of the same junction;
(e) the northern kerbside lane of Holly Road from its junction with Hawthorn Road to a point about 5 metres east of the same junction;
(f) the eastern kerbside lane of Hawthorn Road from its junction with Holly Road to a point about 5 metres south of the same junction;
(g) the eastern kerbside lane of Hawthorn Road from its junction with Holly Road to a point about 20 metres north of the same junction;
(h) the southern kerbside lane of Green Lane from its junction with Blue Pool Road to a point about 30 metres west of the same junction; and
(i) the northern kerbside lane of Blue Pool Road from its junction with Green Lane to a point about 15 metres west of the same junction.

    Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.

The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.

At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
