ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
TEMPORARY RESTRICTED ZONES IN YAU MA TEI

       In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 16 March 2026 to 15 September 2026, Battery Street from its junction with Kansu Street to the cul-de-sac at the northern end of Battery Street will be temporarily designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily.

       Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

            (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or

            (b) loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zone have been indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
