ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES IN WAN CHAI

     In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 20 March 2026, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

(a) the southern kerbside lane of Leighton Road from its junction with Leighton Lane to a point about 60 metres west of the same junction;
(b) the western kerbside lane of Leighton Lane from its junction with Leighton Road to a point about 5 metres south of the same junction;
(c) the eastern and western kerbside lanes of Ventris Road from its junction with Broadwood Road to a point about 15 metres south of the same junction;
(d) the southern kerbside lane of Broadwood Road from its junction with Ventris Road to a point about 10 metres west of the same junction;
(e) the western kerbside lane of unnamed access road leading to The Leighton Hill from its junction with Broadwood Road to a point about 50 metres north of the same junction;
(f) the eastern kerbside lane of Link Road from its junction with Caroline Hill Road to a point about 35 metres south of the same junction; and
(g) the western kerbside lane of Caroline Hill Road from its junction with Link Road to a point about 60 metres south of the same junction.

    Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.

     The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.

     At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
